How AI Meeting Companion works

A step-by-step walkthrough of the whole workflow — from pressing record to closing out action items. You can follow along before you sign up; the same guided tutorial is built into the app once you're in.

1. Press record — no bot required

Open AI Meeting Companion on your phone or laptop and press record. Nothing joins your Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams call, and no other participant gets a notification. In-person meetings work exactly the same way.

2. The conversation is captured live

Speech is transcribed as the meeting runs. You can also type or dictate quick notes at any moment, so anything said off-mic still makes it into the record.

3. Tap “Generate notes”

When recording stops, one tap turns the transcript into a clean summary: what was discussed, what was agreed, and what happens next — in seconds, not after the fact.

4. Decisions are separated from chatter

Every decision is pulled into its own list so you can see the outcome of the meeting without rereading the whole transcript.

5. Action items become real tasks

Owners and due dates are extracted automatically. Edit anything, assign it, and track completion from the Tasks tab.

6. Reminders keep follow-ups from slipping

Install the app to your home screen and you'll get push notifications for your daily agenda, upcoming meetings, meetings starting now, and summaries that are ready to review.

7. Your conversations stay yours

Recordings and notes are private to your account. You choose what to record, what to keep, and what to delete.

8. Same workflow everywhere

Phone, tablet, or desktop — everything syncs, so you can record on mobile and review notes later on a bigger screen.

Frequently asked questions

Does a bot join my meeting?
No. Recording happens on your own device, so no assistant shows up in the participant list.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in your browser. Installing it to your phone's home screen is optional and unlocks push notifications.
Can I try it for free?
Yes — the free plan includes monthly transcription minutes so you can run the full workflow before upgrading.
