Terms of Service — AI Meeting Companion

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and BAE VIEW LLC, trading as AI Meeting Companion ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service helps you prepare for meetings, capture notes (by typing, dictation, or live recording), and generate AI-assisted briefs, summaries, decisions and action items. AI output is generated automatically and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on or sharing it.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Record any meeting, person or audio without the consent required by applicable law.
Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or that contains malware.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass security or rate limits of the Service.
Use the Service to make decisions about a person without meaningful human review.

4. Consent to record

Many jurisdictions require all-party consent to record a conversation. You are solely responsible for obtaining and documenting that consent. We provide tools, not legal advice.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the notes, transcripts and recordings you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train third-party foundation models without your explicit opt-in.

6. AI output

Output produced by the AI is provided "as is". Different users may receive similar output for similar inputs. You are responsible for verifying AI output before acting on it.

7. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings or via paddle.net. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy for details. We may change pricing on 30 days' notice; price changes apply at the next renewal.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On deletion we erase your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

9. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
